Change in State College Status for MGC

On October 5, 2005, Middle Georgia College submitted an application to the Board of Regents to be able to offer selected baccalaureate degrees. MGC has requested permission to offer a bachelor of science degree in aviation management with tracks in professional flight management, airport management, air traffic management and logistics. It has also requested the approval to offer a bachelor of applied science degree in flight management for graduates of aviation technical colleges. In addition to the aviation programs, MGC also requested the approval to offer a bachelor of science degree in education with a major in early childhood and bachelor of science degree in nursing.
