The
GypsyMIDI uses 12 rotational sensors (6 per arm) placed on body joints which plugs into a MIDI interface. Body movements send MIDI signals to sound modules and audio sequencing software such as Logic Audio, Cubase, Live and Reason, ProTools, MotionBuilder, Traktor DJ Studio. The sensors respond to various movements of the wrist, elbow, and shoulder. The mapping software,
eXo-software, gives the user the ability to define how movements are translated to MIDI control.
Pictures and
videos of the device are available on the Sonalog site.
